The Art Gallery of Peterborough

We moved back to my hometown of Peterborough two years ago. When we left Burlington I thought it may be difficult to find fun activities & outings for the girls & I to experience in this new city. Turns out I was wrong.

One of our favourite things to do at the beginning of each month is to explore the local Art Gallery. They have free craft projects & activities, encouraging families to come explore the entire space. Last week as we looked at all of the art hanging on the walls, my youngest daughter asked me to take photos of some of her favourite pieces. If you check out the link below it will take to the Gallery's website. Since I was walking with a four year old I was unable to get the info on each artist to credit them...sorry.

My daughter loved this as it was abstract... like her mom does

If you are looking for something to do with your kids, check out your local galleries. You might be surprised by how much they already know about art & how kid friendly the galleries are.
